Saturday, we drove thru 6 states in 10 hours...it was a looong ride. It wouldn't have been half bad except for not one BUT two cars were on fire in two different states. The whole front end. Thank God, noone was inside those 2 cars but it backed up traffic for miles. At one point, we stopped for about 25 mins. I got out let Kobe out to potty...lol...

George Washington Bridge in New York City....cost $8.00 to go over it!!
We got gas in Connecticut and it was $4.19 per gallon ($111 to fill it)!! Also cost us over $28 in tolls. It seemed like every time you got going fast, the traffic would slow down and there would be a toll both.....I guess they have to pay for those roads somehow....
We finally made it to Cape Cod.... 
As we came over the Bourne Bridge we started to notice the tree leaves were half dead...We found out later, that the cicada bug that comes every 17 years was here a couple of weeks ago. I think it comes out of the ground and layes it's eggs in the branches and then the branches die and the bugs go back into the ground for 17 more years....very interesting....
We are staying at Scott's sister Robin & Andy's house in Falmouth, Mass. We went out to dinner with them and then we all went home and fell asleep....it was a tiring day. Thanks, Mom for all the internet facts and weather reports along the way...
