New Hairdo!!

I decided after trying to grow my hair out for a few years and getting back to my "natural" color that it just wasn't working for me :) The longer my hair got, the flatter it got. Also, the darker it got, the more washed out I looked....so I decided to go back short and blonde lol... This was before....

This was the picture I saw that I wanted my hair to look. My hairdresser, Donna, didn't quite dare to cut it as short as the picture...she didn't want me to be upset....so she said that if I wanted it shorter, she could always cut more but couldn't put it back on....lol...

So.....

This is what it looks like now!! I like it soooo much better....I have some shape to my hair now...lol...

Region Swim Meet

Dorman Swim Team went to the Region Meet in Greenville on Saturday.... Our Seniors on the team....Jay Warner, Costa Jennings, & Jim Carter (Chad Jackson was not there)

Zack's best stroke is Backstroke....He finished 7th in the Region...Great Job! He has a consideration time for State...

He swam two relays too...

He's definitely got the body for backstroke....long...

He also swam 200 IM and got 7th in that also...

Overall, Dorman Boys placed 2nd in the Region, losing only by 2 pts....

Dorman girls placed 3rd in the Region...

State Meet is in a couple of weeks.....GO DORMAN!!!!

Billy & Amy's Wedding

On Saturday, September 12th, we went to a Wedding at Anderson Mill Baptist Church. Billy Parris & Amy Bagwell were united as one. It was a beautiful wedding. Amy sang to Billy during the ceremony and there weren't too many dry eyes in the group. They are cutting their cake...

They threw the garter and the bouquet and the two youngest caught them :)

After the Wedding, we went to Chief's to celebrate Ryan Shelton's 17th Birthday...It was also fun. I didn't get any pictures but if you want to check out Jennifer's Blog, she has pictures :)

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend, we went to Coneross Campground on Lake Hartwell with the Glovers... Jennifer, Eric & Tyler slept in this tent....

We rented a boat on Saturday....It was fun but the boat didn't go very fast at all...

Jennifer jumped off the boat and there was a ladder to get back on, however, it was not the ladder that belonged to that boat...so it was difficult to get back on...so I didn't jump in...

Not me! I jumped off the boat then I swam to shore and walked back to the boat on the dock...

It was a long 8 hours on the boat for Tyler, he took a little nap...isn't he sweet??

We found a poor cat floating in the lake...I don't know if that's how you catch catfish or not in the south...:)

I don't know if you call this a blonde moment or a redneck moment...BUT...Jennifer decided to shave her legs outside with a cup of water, a shaver and some shaving cream...TOO FUNNY!

Sunday, we had a cookout and invited the Shaws, the Davis' and the Darwins down to eat with us.
