Summer...Yeah!!

Well, it's been summer vacation for more than a week BUT I was enjoying having the week off and I am now just getting around to updating my blog....

What plans do you have for the summer?

Well, so far, school got out on Wed, June 3rd, I fed 80 people on the 4th (teacher luncheon at the Freshman Campus). On the 7th, I did my first Aloette show as a consultant for my Aunt Annette in Pelzer. I have decided to sell Aloette because I tried the products and absolutely LOVE it. It makes your skin feel really soft & smooth. Also, it has gotten rid of the dark circles around my eyes. I am watching my wrinkles around my eyes slowly disappear too....

The 8th of June, I helped out doing snacks at VBX. What's VBX? It's like VBS (Vacation Bible School) but with the pre-teens...it's way cooler lol (that's what the pre-teens say)... On June 9th, I went to an aloette meeting/celebration and found out a lot more about how aloette works and the great perks you get as a consultant. You can win products, jewelry, cars, vacations, clothing, bonuses, and the list goes on, not to mention the discount you get on products too.

Then on June 10th & 11th, I helped out at VBX again and it was a lot of fun. Also, on June 11th, I took Zack to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted...OUCH!! He did really well though, and he was eating oodles of noodles by that evening. He has chipmunk cheeks today but the swelling will start to go down by tomorrow we are told..

So what are our plans for the rest of the summer....well, Zack is going on choir tour for a week to TN, a week of Church Camp in July, and he is also planning to swim as much as he can with the Dorman team. He also is taking drivers ed and he will be driving by the middle of July...it will be a mixed blessing. Good that he can take himself places so I don't have to run back and forth all day long but Bad as far as I will worry every time he leaves the driveway...

Cassie has gotten a cell phone....oh poor me....lol...Well, she was told at the beginning of the school year that if she averaged all A's for the year, she would get one. I thought I'd be in the clear since she hasn't done that since about 3rd grade but she really wanted it and she got it, SO I had to get her one. She plans on texting all summer lol...and hanging out with her friends and hopefully going to some fun church activities with the pre-teens.

As for us, we are going to the beach the week of the 4th of July. We are looking forward to that. Also, I am going to try to get as many aloette parties I can. Spending time with the kids and going to clean out the house...one room at a time...

Scott is still steady, Praise God for that, with this economy and all, so he will be busy working and sprucing up the house when he can. He is looking forward to a week at the beach too.

We have been so busy this Spring that we haven't even had a chance to go camping at all yet. usually by this time, we would have gone at least 5 times, but not yet........
