Quick Trip to Edisto Island

Zack & I drove the convertible down to Edisto Island on Wed., June 9th and came back Thursday afternoon. Zack's girlfriend, Haley, and her family were down at Edisto for the week. They invited us to come down. Since I had been helping at VBS at church for the week, we didn't have much time to spend down there. We got there about noon time and then spent the afternoon on the beach. It was so nice. The weather was good and there weren't a ton of people there either. The weather was so good in fact, I got burnt and didn't even feel it.

Haley's family took us to Whaley's to eat. It was good. We had chicken wings and they were great.

Zack, Haley, Ms. Brenda, Mr. Frank, Nathan, Carol and Sean (he got kinda cut off from the picture...sorry)

This guy was singing in there. He is from Spartanburg...

Nathan, Zack & Haley. They took us over to a cove to watch the egrets came in and roost for the night. It was cool...

The house that they had rented was on the golf course.

This is the back side of the house. It was really nice. We had a good day. It was nice to get to know the Tyson family a little better. Sean was teasing Zack & Haley and told them that they broke the Edisto Law by holding hands...lol....
Thanks to the Tyson's for having us!! We hope to go back next summer and rent a house down there. It's just so nice and peaceful there....
