Yesterday we got a new baby girl, Chelsea. She is a Yorktese just like Kobe. In fact, she is Kobe's half sister. She was born on July 13th. She will be 8 weeks old on Sunday. It was kinda ironic that we were looking at getting another puppy, a playmate for Kobe, and the breeder that we bought Kobe from e-mailed me the said that I might want to see some pictures of his newest puppies. We were looking for a girl since we already had a boy. I e-mailed him back to ask him if they were the same parents as Kobe and it is the same father, different mother. So, there it was all layed out for me to get this puppy. Since he lives on the other side of Columbia (Bishopville) I asked him if he'd meet me in Columbia and sure enough he did.

Happy Labor Day to you all!
This weekend we went camping at Lake Hartwell State Park. We need to pray for more rain for that Lake. It was very sad to see how dried up that lake has become.
There used to be water all the way up this bank... The boat ramp has been closed in the campground because it is so low.
We took Zack's friend, Griffin, with us so that Zack would not be too "bored". They pretty much played XBox the entire time we were there. They did go on the jetski once and took five minute breaks to eat.
My sister and her husband came up from Georgia to visit us at the campground. We hung out with them, even though it is still a little too hot to camp. We couldn't build a campfire because we were just too hot. Maybe in another month it will be good camping weather. They brought their dog, Rowdy to play with Kobe. He is a maltese.
Cassie says that we need to get Kobe a playmate. I told her that it will take lots of convincing her daddy of that one.
We got back from camping on Sunday night. Scott wanted to work today. I told him that he isn't suppose to labor on labor day but he says when you have work you need to do it. I guess with this economy we have to be thankful that he does have work.
