My Summer Toy!

I have been talking about getting a convertible for about a year now but Scott didn't think that I would really like one. He said it would mess up my hair lol...So we decided to try and find a used one to see if I did.

He found a GREAT deal on Craigslist....we couldn't pass up. We got a Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse....We got it about a month ago and it has been nice a few days here and there to drive it.

First we had to put a radio in it since there wasn't one. Then we found out that the speakers were blown, so we got some new ones...then we had to get 4 new tires because it had 4 different tires on it and they were pretty bald...then we took out all of the seats and washed them, they were very dirty, but came out really clean....then we got some touch-up paint and painted a few scratches...now,it's a pretty nice car.....

It has been a lot of fun to drive....Cassie loves it too....

Since Zack will have his license this summer, I will let him drive the Expedition, since it is BIG and safe and I will drive the convertible til it gets too cold to drive with the top down, then Zack will drive it through the winter.....Pictures with the top up.....And with the top down.....

It will be a lot of fun to take it to the beach this summer :)

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday, Zack got up early and had to be at church at 6:45 to get ready to play in the Praise Band. Scott, thankfully got up and took him to church.

We went to the 11:00 service. It wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. There were three services, and Zack said the 9:15 was the most full.

It was a great service. Pastor DJ reminded us the reason for the season and to experience Easter not only today but everyday as Christians who have died and have been resurrected with a new life when you accept God into yours..

Scott with Kobe and Cassie with Chelsea.

Scott even wore a tie without complaint :)

After church we took some more pictures with Zack :)

Zack is only about 1/2" shorter than Scott..If he keeps growing he will be taller soon..

He's way taller than me...It's hard to believe that he's 15...

We went to Saluda, NC to have dinner with Scott's dad and his wife, Elaine...It was a great dinner:)

Elaine's daughter, Lynne and her fiancee, Myc. They are getting married in June.

This is my Christmas Poinsettia still holding on...It has to share sun with my Easter lily lol...I bet the lily dies before the poinsettia....Can't believe that it is still alive, It is usually dead by Christmas.
