Day 4....Cozumel, Mexico

Monday, our first port stop was Cozumel, Mexico. This is a fun port. It's a great place to go to the beach.

We took an excursion on a speedboat. We travelled about 20 minutes over to a private island and did some 360's in the boat in front of the island....

It was a lot of fun!

This is our boat...you have to look real close to see me :)

WC, Georgia, Me & Annette on Isla Pasion aka Passion Island. It is a beautiful place to be.

Bathing beauties lol...I tried to hide behind Georgia as much as I could....lol...

There were only 40 of us on this island for the first few hours. They had a buffet of food with lots of fruit, corn chips and salsa. They had some of the hottest salsa that you will ever eat...

Ok, so we are here for about 5 hours, relaxing in the sun, eating, shopping and then it's about time to get back on the speedboat when the tour guide comes over to us and asks "if we want to stay for another hour?"

We told her no because we wanted to get back to the port to do some shopping before we had to get back on the ship.

She tells us that our boat "broke" and no one from the other boat wants to stay so there is no room for us....

Well, we were not very happy about this so the island manager told us that we could take a boat over to the main land and then take a taxi back to the ship at their expense. So we agreed and off we went.

It was a SMALL, old medal boat that took us over to the main land. The motor quit at one point and we thought "oh no" we aren't going to make it back....lol....

We made it to the other side and then went in a van to meet the taxi on the back roads of Mexico...the potholes were bigger than a VW bug lol...

We did make it back in one piece and actually we got to see more of Cozumel then we would have on the speedboat. We also got to shop before we had to be back on board the ship.

This was our cute little animal for the day.....

Day 3....Carnival Cruise...1st Sea Day

Sunday, was a sea day and the first formal night....

I always like the sea days because they are days to explore the ship and relax in the sun.

We woke up, got dressed, went to the breakfast buffet (so much food) and then found a quiet deck and relaxed in the Caribbean sun. It was nice!

We had our first formal night. I like to dress up but don't like to wear heels because they kill my feet. So after we ate, it was back to the cabin and back to more comfortable clothes :)
Georgia & WC were gorgeous...:)

My Aunt Annette was my roommate for the cruise....This is her on the staircase..

Me...

My sister, Denise....

The waiters sang for us...we had Lobster Dinner for the Captain's Dinner. We also got to sit for the remainder of the cruise at the Captain's table. We had a nice family sitting with us from Washington DC...
This was after dinner in the International Lounge waiting to hear a very funny Comedian....

This was waiting for us back in the cabin :)
